Experienced Bookkeeper/Operations Manager
Two days per week or 16 hours per week – pro rata £26,000, Oxfordshire.
We are looking for someone with charity experience to keep our financial records in order, managing project budgets, income and expenditure postings and quarterly management figures. You will bring solid experience of implementing and maintaining financial systems to help our small team.
Min 5 years in a similar role
Experience of implementing processes/systems to track and manage company
Background in charity/arts sector highly desirable
Based at home with travel once a month to the office in Chadlington, Oxfordshire

We are a team of four permanent staff working with freelance artists on a project-by-project basis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide periodic management information
• Produce quarterly accounts to trial balance
• Manage credit control and creditor payments
• Support the cultural and community aims and outcomes of the organisation
• Keep detailed and accurate financial records for the charity’s operations, using Sage, Xero or other software packages
• Provide data for regular financial reports, including income and expenditure accounts, balance sheet
• Operate staff monthly payroll and provide real-time returns information to HMRC
• Prepare periodic Gift Aid claims
• Contribute to periodic monitoring returns as required by funders and other stakeholders
• Support budget creation for grant and funding applications and bids

Artist training – paid placement opportunities
Rosetta Life, an arts in health innovation charity, is seeking versatile, creative performers based in the Thames Valley (Buckinghamshire and Berkshire) with experience of devised work and co-creation. An interest in arts in health and the ability to work imaginatively with community organisations and vulnerable adults and children alongside skills in singing and/or dance are essential.
DBS required and willingness to undertake safeguarding training.
